After reflecting on my PhD journey and the knowledge and competencies I developed through theory, research, instructional and professional practices; I believe I am ready for the next stage towards my dissertation. This involves the ongoing quest prior to, during and after my dissertation to identify, understand and start addressing the barriers faced by teachers to support the needs of all learners in inclusive classrooms. To help me further confirm the need for my research and prepare me for my dissertation, I have also recently been awarded a research scholarship and internship starting in January 2023 through the partnership of Mitacs and Lab2market entrepreneurship program.
